The origami inspired chapel in the landscape of central Spain

In Cuenca, in the mountainous landscape of Central Spain, the architects of the Sancho – Madridejos studio built a small chapel inspired by paper origami on top of a hill.

The result is a light work but still decisive—an angular concrete structure with large, curved facades that break off with sharp angles.

A landmark in the landscape.
