Vintage photographs of the first vertical parking lots, 1920-1960

Starting from its first use in Paris in 1905 at the Garage Rue de Ponthieu, vertical parking had widespread popularity in the early 1900s. However, today they are no longer present, perhaps because everyone has realized that the time needed for car retirement or the perennial uncertainty of finding their car still ok were two too heavy burdens to give a future to.

In any case, as often happens with vintage photographs, everything is very fascinating.
