The group led by Cino Zucchi Architetti e Politecnica, with Tatiana Milone, Dotdotdot, Stratosferica and Alberto Artioli, won the international competition for the renovation of the Cavallerizza Reale complex in Turin.
The competition aimed to create a cultural centre in the city, capable of combining new cultural, educational, hospitality, social and administrative functions.
The winning project aims to regenerate the Cavallerizza by reinterpreting the existing architecture and combining a new urban experience with a collective commitment to the environment and ecology.
The jury also mentioned the proposal from the French studio Lacaton et Vassal Architectes, which could lead to potential collaboration on some parts of the complex.
