Milan has been enriched by a new building, it is the new architecture of the Feltrinelli Milano. A simple building, which recalls the values of other Milanese buildings, designed by architects Herzog & De Meuron.
The new headquarters will house the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation, a library, archives, multi-purpose rooms, a library, as well as shops and offices. Behind the simplicity is therefore a multifunctional and technological building, without neglecting any detail both externally and internally.
The project fits into the overall masterplan for the redevelopment of Porta Volta, Milan very strategic area located a few steps from Parco Sempione and the Monumental Cemetery.
In addition to the building, the Feltrinelli Milano project also includes a very large green area. Today we can’t see it, but observing the project of Herzog & De Meuron here below you can guess its reach.
