Architecture becomes abstraction in the photographs of Matthias Heiderich. If we take only details and urban portions from buildings and cities, and then we opt for a careful choice of the frames – we make of them a sort of paintings. Architecture becomes something else.
They may look like photos digitally edited, but in this Summa IV collection, which goes alongside the previous 3, everything you see is part of reality.
