MAD Architects’ Open Border installation at the Milan Design Week 2016

INTERNI OPEN BORDERS

This year at the l’università degli studi di milano, Interni Magazine has organized a collection of numerous installations driven by the theme “Open Borders”. For the occasion, the architectural studio MAD Architects creates an invisible border suspended in the Cortile d’onore of the university.

The effect is very impactful, and the theme is fully achieved. The installation creates a real unique place.

“Architects usually creates borders by defining spaces – what is inside and outside, what is nature and the artificial – but today’s society already has too many invisible borders “ explains Ma Yansong— founder and principal of MAD architects
