Concrete surrounded by nature

Designed by LCLA Office and Clara Arango, the Ballen Houses is not only a splendid example of contemporary architecture but also and above all, a home in perfect harmony with nature.

The boundary between inside and outside is rarely clearly marked in this intervention. And when it is, as in the case of the elevations, it appears in all its pride, showing its bare and raw material.

The residence consists of four distinct volumes, each positioned in its own way along a slope. Each part is different from one another, but what binds them all is the exposed concrete and the custom-made stainless steel details.
